Discover the Best and Skip the Rest – Your Ultimate Guide to St Thomas, USVI!

As a travel blogger who loves luxury experiences, I recently made a trip to Marina Bay Sands in Singapore and had the pleasure of experiencing the rooftop infinity pool that the hotel boasts. The entire Marina Bay Sands complex is truly a sight to behold, with its iconic design and world-class amenities. In this article, I will share my personal insights and recommendations on how to make the most of a visit to Marina Bay Sands, including everything you need to know about the rooftop pool.

The Infinity Pool

As soon as I stepped onto the rooftop of Marina Bay Sands, I knew the infinity pool was going to be a highlight of my trip. The views of the Singapore skyline were breathtaking, and the pool itself was absolutely stunning. It’s the world’s largest rooftop infinity pool, stretching 150 meters long and located 57 stories above ground.

The pool is open from 6am to 11pm, and I highly recommend arriving early in the morning to beat the crowds. There are plenty of sun loungers available, but they do fill up quickly. I found that the best time to swim was in the late afternoon, when the sun was starting to set and the pool was a little quieter.

One of the things I loved about the pool was the facilities available. There’s a bar where you can order drinks and snacks, as well as a few private cabanas that offer a little extra privacy and shade. There are also showers and changing rooms available, so you don’t have to worry about bringing your own towel or getting changed in your hotel room.

If you’re looking for other rooftop pools to check out, I’d recommend the SkyPark pool at the Marina Bay Sands’ sister property, the PARKROYAL on Pickering. It’s smaller than the Marina Bay Sands pool, but still offers incredible views and a more intimate atmosphere.

Activities and Tours

When I visited Marina Bay Sands, I was impressed by the variety of activities and tours available to guests. One of my favorites was visiting Gardens by the Bay, a stunning botanical garden with giant tree-like structures that light up at night. It was like stepping into another world, and I highly recommend checking it out.

Another must-visit at Marina Bay Sands is the ArtScience Museum. The architecture alone is worth seeing, but the exhibitions inside are equally fascinating. I particularly enjoyed the Future World exhibit, which had interactive installations that made me feel like I was part of the art.

For those who enjoy shopping, The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands is a must-visit destination. It has a wide range of luxury brands and high-end boutiques, as well as more affordable options. Plus, the canal running through the mall adds a unique touch to the shopping experience.

If you’re looking for a unique way to see the city, I highly recommend the Singapore River Night Cruise. It’s a great way to see the city from a different perspective and learn about its history and culture.

Finally, if you’re feeling adventurous, I recommend taking a helicopter tour. It’s a bit pricey, but the views are worth it. I was able to see the entire city from above and got some amazing photos.

Overall, there’s no shortage of things to do at Marina Bay Sands. Make sure to plan ahead and prioritize the activities that interest you the most.

Services

A. As a frequent traveler, one of the most important aspects of any hotel stay for me is the quality of the food and dining options. At Marina Bay Sands, I was not disappointed. There is a plethora of dining choices available, ranging from fine dining experiences to casual cafes and restaurants. My personal favorite was the Bread Street Kitchen by Gordon Ramsay, where I enjoyed a delicious breakfast each morning.

B. The bars at Marina Bay Sands are also top-notch. I highly recommend a visit to the CÉ LA VI rooftop bar, which offers stunning views of the city skyline. The drinks are pricey, but the atmosphere and scenery make it worth it.

C. Finally, room service at Marina Bay Sands was excellent. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and the food was delivered promptly and was of high quality. One of my favorite memories from my stay was enjoying a late-night room service dinner while gazing out at the city lights from my room.
