Of course, no visit to Solvang is complete without trying some of the traditional Danish pastries. I indulged in a delicious Danish kringle from one of the local bakeries and couldn’t resist going back for seconds. The town’s Scandinavian cuisine is not to be missed!

But it wasn’t all about the food for me. I also took the time to explore the local vineyards and indulge in some wine tasting. The rolling hills and breathtaking views made for the perfect backdrop to my tastings. I even brought home a few bottles as souvenirs.

Map of Solvang

As I explored Solvang, I found that the town is very walkable and easy to navigate. However, there are so many attractions and places to visit that I knew a map would be helpful for visitors.

I recommend starting at the visitor center, located at 1639 Copenhagen Dr, as they have helpful maps and brochures available. From there, you can begin your journey through the town and visit each of the top attractions.

One of my favorite places to visit was the Elverhøj Museum of History and Art, located at 1624 Elverhoy Way. The museum is housed in a historic Danish-style building and features exhibits on the history of Solvang and the surrounding Santa Ynez Valley. The museum also has a beautiful garden area to explore.

Another must-visit attraction is the Solvang Vintage Motorcycle Museum, located at 320 Alisal Rd. This museum has a collection of over 100 vintage and rare motorcycles, including some that are over 100 years old. As a motorcycle enthusiast, I was in awe of this museum and spent hours admiring the bikes.

Of course, no visit to Solvang is complete without indulging in some Danish pastries and cuisine. I highly recommend visiting Olsen’s Danish Village Bakery, located at 1529 Mission Dr. They have a wide selection of pastries, including their famous kringle, which is a flaky pastry filled with almond paste and topped with icing.

Overall, Solvang is a charming town with so much to see and do. I hope this map and guide helps visitors make the most of their time in Solvang.

Solvang offers a wide range of activities, tours, and services that can make your visit even more memorable. Here are some that I personally recommend:

Horse-drawn carriage rides: One of the highlights of my trip to Solvang was taking a leisurely carriage ride through the charming streets of the town. The horses were well-cared for and the driver was very informative, sharing interesting stories and facts about Solvang’s history and culture.
